CA Healthy Kids Survey guides Youth Development, improves Academic Performance

The California Healthy Kids Survey is a comprehensive youth health risk and resilience data collection service for local education agencies sponsored by the California Department of Education.  The survey has been administered in California schools since 1997.  In compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, CDE now requires that all districts receiving Title IV funds must administer the survey biennially to students in grades 5, 7, 9, and 11 and to assess their needs and demonstrate accountability.

Students will be completing the survey during the week of January 23, 2012. The surveys can be previewed by clicking on the links below. If you have questions, please contact the Principal at your child’s school. Thank you for your participation in this important activity.
